Women Power drives Tourism Malaysia’s Marketing initiative

Tourism Malaysia has announced appointment of three young women to drive its marketing initiative in India.

Ratna Mehta, in her capacity as Marketing Manager of Tourism Malaysia will look after marketing and promotional activities for Tourism Malaysia with a concentrated focus on the Indian market. Through innovative marketing initiatives and ground level connect with the target audience; Mehta’s mandate will mainly entail promoting the brand and enhancing positive publicity for Malaysia among all stakeholders. Mehta comes with a vast experience in the travel trade sector from developing SOPs to quality control tools and has worked with some of the leading names in this sector.

With the primary objective of promoting travel to Malaysia, M.C. Kavitha’s role entails strengthening marketing efforts by liaising with top Corporate offices, Aviation Industry and Hospitality Industry, Embassies, Tourism Boards and Travel fraternity in and around South India.  She will also be responsible for driving numbers through implementation of Food and Cultural Promotions & Festivals, Tourism Malaysia’s participation in Travel exhibitions, Fairs and Travel Mart and conducting training workshops.
With the primary objective of promoting travel to Malaysia, M.C. Tourism Malaysia announced the appointment of Sneha Rai as Marketing Executive for its Mumbai operations. Rai’s primary role will be to assist disseminate information to travel agents, tour operators, airlines, local and foreign media clubs associations to generate greater awareness and interest on Malaysia tourism products and attractions.  She will also be responsible for monitoring current trend and development in the tourism sector and assisting the marketing division in formulating strategies.
Tourism Malaysia announced the appointment of Sneha Rai as Marketing Executive for its Mumbai operations. Rai’s primary role will be to assist disseminate information to travel agents, tour operators, airlines, local and foreign media clubs associations to generate greater awareness and interest on Malaysia tourism products and attractions. She will also be responsible for monitoring current trend and development in the tourism sector and assisting the marketing division in formulating strategies.
